Personal Biography:

Dr Konika Bansal has done her MBBS from Government medical college, Patiala. She did her DNB pediatrics from prestigious Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre Mumbai. With keen interest in pediatric neurology, she did her fellowship with renowned Bai Jerbai Wadia hospital for Children, Mumbai. She has multiple presentation in national and international conferences. Dr Konika Bansal is specialized in the treatment of various neurological and developmental problems in children (neonates to 18 years of age). She has huge experience in dealing with all the neurological disorders including the electrophysiological studies like EEG, EMG/NCV and interventions. Early diagnosis and intervention is the key in pediatric neurology to prevent the complications. Complete genetic diagnosis of neurologic conditions is important for prognosis, genetic counselling and planning next pregnancy. Dr Konika Bansal treats the children with love and care. She has compassion for the parents and explains them about the condition with patience. She believes in holistic approach and involves psychologist, occupational therapist, physiotherapist and behavioral therapist wherever required. Dr Konika Bansal was part of the SPINRAZA trial at Bai Jerbai Wadia hospital, Mumbai. She deals with epilepsy, delayed development, learning difficulties, delayed speech, neurodegenerative diseases , genetic and metabolic diseases, behavioral disorders like autism and ADHD.
