Personal Biography:
Dr Achal Gupta secured 1st rank in Haryana PMT and did his MBBS from Pt B.D. Sharma Post-graduate Institute of Medical Sciences Rohtak. He has leadership qualities. He was Physiology president and Class representative of the batch. He was selected and completed University research fellowship in genetics and molecular medicine 2011. He did his DrNB 6-year Neurosurgery training at prestigious Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre Mumbai. He has more than 60 presentations in national and international conferences and published more than 10 chapters and authored a book on “Happy and healthy living: a practical handbook”. Dr Achal Gupta is known for his dedication and compassionate nature. He believes in creating a patient-centric & individualistic plan of treatment, tailored according to the unique requirements for each of his patient’s case. He lays great emphasis on establishing a reliable & trustworthy relationship with his patients and with this approach, Dr Gupta has successfully treated his patients with extremely high success rate & with minimal post-surgery complications. His areas of interest include fully endoscopic spinal surgery, micro-endoscopic spinal surgery, complex spinal surgeries requiring pedicle screw fixation, percutaneous vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty and pain management including neuropathic pain, rhizotomy, trans-foraminal block and sympathetic block. Dr Achal Gupta has done research on the cervical spine during his training which made him an expert in doing complex craniovertebral surgery, anterior cervical surgery and posterior cervical surgery. Dr Achal Gupta has been awarded with best presentation awards in multiple national and international conferences.
